My name is Justine and I live with my husband and son in Ottawa, Canada. My previous career was in the food world, including as a food photographer, and I’ve recently completed my studies in library sciences. This is the little corner of the web that I’ve created to post my photography. The website title is a nod to my appreciation of tucking into a good book or meal.
Hi! My name is Justine and I created this space to share my food photography.
Many years ago, I took a hint from the fact that I was falling asleep reading cookbooks every night, and decided to follow my passion for food. I took a break from university, and went to study cooking at Le Cordon Bleu instead. From there, I worked in the food industry for over a decade, both in and out of the kitchen.
After a bit of soul searching in my early thirties, I decided to follow another passion (for books and the transformative power of reading!) and go back to school to study library sciences. For the past few years, I have been studying part-time while also being a stay-at-home parent.
I share a small home in Ottawa, Canada with my husband and son. I love to spend my time cooking, visiting local bakeries, gardening, walking, reading, and being in the company of family and friends.
