Chocolate Olive Oil Cake + Weekend Links

Hi, friends! I hope you have a relaxing weekend ahead. The weather is finally supposed to warm up around here, so I’m hoping to spend lots of time outdoors, taking long walks and soaking up the sunshine. Last weekend we went to one of our favourite local restaurants, and had some of their crazy good cinnamon buns and coffee - fingers crossed we can recreate that experience tomorrow!

Now, let’s take a minute to talk about this chocolate olive oil cake! This cake has become a very regular part of our dessert rotation ever since I first made it over a year ago. The one pictured above is my version, but you can find the recipe on the Smitten Kitchen blog. I highly recommend you give it a try - I mean, just look at that shiny glaze!
